Record Harvest Boosts East African Coffee Exports
East African coffee exports have hit a record high, with Kenya, Ethiopia, and Uganda leading the surge.

East African coffee producers are celebrating a record-breaking harvest season, with the region's exports reaching an all-time high of 4.2 million bags.

Kenya's premium AA-grade coffee has seen particularly strong demand from specialty coffee markets in Europe and Asia, commanding prices 40% above the global average.
Smallholder farmers, who produce over 80% of the region's coffee, have been the biggest beneficiaries, with many reporting a doubling of their income.
