Pan-African Railway Project Enters Phase Two Construction
The ambitious Lagos-to-Nairobi railway project has entered its second phase of construction.

The Pan-African Railway Initiative, one of the continent's most ambitious infrastructure projects, has officially entered its second phase of construction.

Phase one, which connected Lagos to Accra, Ghana, was completed last year. The new phase will extend the railway through Kumasi, Burkina Faso, and Kampala, Uganda.
Once completed, the railway is expected to reduce travel time between the two cities from 3 days to just 18 hours.
